Location and Accessibility
Location
The location of our meetings will be either online, in my practice rooms in Orchard Street in the town centre, Stokes Croft or online.
Where possible I do like to meet in person to begin with, as it can help us establish a more close, connected relationship earlier on in the process of therapy, but this is not a hard and fast requirement. There is an ever-growing body of evidence showing that psychotherapy delivered online is highly effective and this is something I am very happy to offer should it suit you better.
Working online also brings benefits for accessibility for those less mobile, who live further afield and who may benefit from being in an environment they can control themselves.
Orchard Street
My practice is in the heart of Bristol. The area is close to the interesting and diverse shopping district of Park Street, with art and murals by Banksy.
I share the therapeutic rooms with several colleagues. I currently have limited availability there, with most flexibility on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
It is advisable to use public transport, with it being a five minute walk from the major bus terminus in Bristol Centre.

Accessibility
My rooms are on the first and second floors of a beautiful old Georgian building. This space does not have a lift and requires climbing two flight of stairs.
You are welcome to bring things into the space to make it more accessible to you. Some clients bring fidget toys, others sometimes like to bring a small Bluetooth speaker and play the sound of rain and distant thunderstorms.
I appreciate that online working can be more accessible for clients and I am really open to supporting discussion of how we can best work together to make the hard work of therapy more available to you.
